Bucharest Stock Exchange has 27 new stockholders after the transfer of 0.015% of social capital

Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) has increased the number of shareholders by 27 after the transfer of a package of 753 shares, representing 0.015% of the social capital of BVB, which was converted into preferential shares, a press release shows.
The Exchange Board registered on Tuesday 27 new shareholders owners of preferential stock, without voting right.
The number of BVB shareholders is 158, 66 of whom hold ordinary stock and 92 preferential ones. BVB has a capital of 49.44 million lei, divided into 4.94 million shares, with a nominal value of 10 lei. Of the shares issued by BVB, 4.76 million are ordinary and 184,163 are preferential. The most important shareholders of the Exchange are brokerage houses which hold participations of up to 2.96%. Thus the BVB social capital is divided between 72 companies and 86 persons. SSIF Brokerage Cluj is the biggest BVB shareholder with 2.96% of shares, followed by HTI Valori Imobiliare with 2.79%, a company controlled by the American investment bank Morgan Stanley. Intervam controls 2.52% of shares, while WBS Romania, headed by the former member of BVB board Cristian Sima has 1.92% of shares.
