Anchor Group inaugurated the showroom of InCity Residences complex

The investment value has reached EUR 67 M, with the construction works set to be completed in 2009.

Bucharest – Anchor Group, the developer of the Bucharest Mall and Plaza Romania commercial centres, has announced yesterday the opening of the showroom of the InCity Residences luxury residential project. ‘The luxury residential centre, located near Mall Vitan, will have a built-up area of 92,000 square meters and will be built through a larger investment than the one initially established. We have decided to hike the value of the investment from EUR 50 M to EUR 67 M because of the construction works’ higher costs but also due to the higher quality finishing that we will use in the houses’ Ibrahim Paksoy, Anchor Group’s executive director, has stated. According to the Anchor Group representatives, the first stage of the project, namely the two buildings with approximately 250 houses have already been sold, and the whole residential complex is due to be finished by the end of 2008 and early 2009. The residential complex consists of four 17-stories blocks and will include 502 apartments, varying from bachelor’s flats to apartments with two, three or four rooms and to penthouse-type triplexes ranging from three to five rooms. Apart from the finishing, the houses will be endowed with air conditioning units, bathroom furniture and sanitary items. The average price is of EUR 1,970 plus VAT per square meter. The showroom apartments include a bachelor’s flat of approximately 64 square meters and a 3A-type three-room apartment with a surface of 144 square meters, created in order to offer the new downtown lifestyle. At the same time, two other types of three-room apartments have been fitted: one with a 107-square meters surface and the other with a 116-square meters surface. The residential complex consists of four 17-stories blocks and will include 502 apartments, varying from bachelor’s flats to apartments with two, three or four rooms and to penthouse-type triplexes ranging from three to five rooms. The three-room apartments offer generous spaces with surfaces ranging from 107.2 to 143.6 square meters. The real-estate developer has recently announced that it has an investment volume of EUR 390 M in finished or planned projects and it also plans investments of approximately EUR 400 M for the construction of three residential complexes in Bucharest in the next years.
