Stock Exchange went down at closing time on Tuesday

BVB stock market indexes depreciated on Tuesday, on the background of a reduced liquidity. The value of exchanges carried out in this session was 15.13 million lei, the equivalent of 4.24 million euros, while exchanges of 82.38 million lei were made throughout the day.

The composite index of the exchange, BET-C lost 0.41% going down to 4955.57 points while BET index, which showed the evolution of the ten most liquid titles listed depreciated by 0.77% compared to Monday, going to 6949.19 points. BET-FI, the index of the five financial investment companies, registered the biggest drop of 2.13% to the level of 50486.65 points. Titles of SIF Oltenia ranked first for liquidity, with 3.11 million lei, followed by those of SIF Moldova and SSIF Broker, with 2.31 million lei and 2.01 million lei. Ranking fourth was SIF Muntenia with 1.90 million lei and fifth was SIF Banat Crisana with 1.12 million lei. The most important price rises were registered by shares of Armatura (4%), Orsova Shipyard (2.04%) and Turism Felix Baile Felix (1.63%) while Condmag (-7.46%), Amonil (-6.36%) and Biofarm (-6.21%) were in the top of losses. 51 futures contracts were concluded, being supported by shares of SIF Oltenia and Moldova due in June. 26 future contracts were concluded for SIF Oltenia shares at an average price of 2.84 lei, with a total value of 36,940 lei and 25 contracts for SIF Moldova at an average price of 2.32 lei and a total value of 29,000 lei.
