Bucharest Tourism Fair, at its 2nd edition

The second edition of Bucharest Tourism Fair (TTB) will be held over May 9-11 2008 in Izvor Park, near the Parliament Palace.

The Ministry for SMEs, Trade, Tourism and Liberal professions will promote the tourism offers within a national stall while Bucharest Capital City will present its new promotion concepts in an original style. 'The dynamics of the exhibition area this year, the increasing number of participants, the interest of the tourism operators, of some banking, consultancy and insurance institutions, of the media partners supporting the event, show we are on a successful path. Though a regional fair, its second edition marks international participation of some companies in the Baltic Countries, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey and so on,' Victor Radulescu, head of Interpress Turism, one of the event's organizers, said. If at the previous edition of the TTB business resulted contracts and sales of 1 million euros, organizers expect a 50 percent increase this year.
