One hundred and thirty companies enter CERF 2008

This year's edition of CERF - Computer and Electronics Romania Fair brings together 130 companies, which display over 600 brands at Romexpo exhibition center in Bucharest. There are ten firms less than in 2007.

'We expect 60,000 visitors this year, the same as in 2007, although less firms are entering the fair this year and although the displaying area is by 1,500 sq m smaller, it stands at 12,500 sq m now, compared with 14,000 sq m in 2007, ' said at a press conference Dan Voicu, the manager of Expotex Co., which has organized the fair. He said that despite the fact that big companies, such as Lasting Systems, BitDefender, UltraPro or UPC are not participating in this year's edition of CERF, present are other top companies from Romania and abroad. 'This year, 13 firms from Taiwan will enter CERF, in a first, with Taiwan one of the biggest producers of IT equipment. They will promote state-of-the-art products and their best solutions, they can enter into partnerships at CERF, allowing them to be present on the Romanian market.' Voicu said.
