Ramada continues to expand in Romania, to Iasi and Brasov

Ramada is continuing its expansion in Romania, especially to main cities, two new hotels being opened in Iasi and Brasov, according to a Trend Hospitality release, the strategic partner of Wyndham Hotels Group for Romania, Moldova and Bulgaria.
The offer on hotel market in the cities of Brasov (center) and Iasi (east) is to rise by 191 four-star rooms (this figure representing the cumulated capacity of the two hotels), to be available to tourists starting with June 2008 in Iasi and, respectively, with July 2008 in Brasov, under the Ramada brand.
Tinu Sebesanu, CEO of Trend Hospitaliy, stressed that Ramada negotiates the opening of Ramada brand hotels in some other four important cities in Romania (Cluj Napoca, Timisoara, Oradea, Craiova), so that, up to 2015, 30 Ramada hotels will operate in Romania.
In Romania, Ramada brand is represented by Trend Hospitality, which acts as a strategic developer in Romania, Bulgaria and the Republic of Moldova and is the exclusive franchiser on the Romanian market of the following brands included in Wyndham portfolio: Ramada, Super 8 Motel and Days Inn.
Ramada Worldwide is part of Wyndham Hotel Group, being present on six continents, with a total of 6,550 hotels. Ramada brand was created in 1954, and in 2004 it entered the Wyndham Hotel Group's portfolio.
Ramada brand has been present in Romania, up to now, through four hotels, three in Bucharest and one in Sibiu.
