Orange cuts Internet and roaming tariffs

Beginning in June, Orange customers will pay the best rates for roaming data transfer in the EU with the new options available – Travel data Monthly and Travel Data Daily, both called Orange Travel data, according to a press statement. ‘We are permanently interested in launching innovative and advantageous offers to remain the same steady and reliable partner of our customers who use Orange services both in the country and abroad’ Irina Pana, International Roaming Manager of Orange Romania, stated.

Customers travelling to the EU and who connect to the Internet in roaming shall pay up to 80 per cent less. With the Travel data Mobility option, Orange customers can choose the 10 Mb, 25 Mb or 60 Mb data pack for EUR 20, EUR 40 and EUR 60 per month respectively. Orange has also prepared the Travel Data Daily option for its customers, including 60 Mb of Internet traffic valid for one day, for EUR 15. Travel Data Daily proposes a rate that is over 90 per cent lower than the standard rate. With favourite Countries, Orange customers pay advantageous tariffs for roaming calls made from their favourite country or for international calls made from Romania to the favourite country. Compared to the standard rates, the option comes at a discount of up to 67 per cent for international calls. Customers have the choice of one or several favourite countries of the EU, Switzerland, R. Moldova, China, Israel, Lebanon and Turkey. Both for subscribers and for PrePay users, Orange is cutting its standard rates for roaming data traffic to EUR 4/ Mb in preferred networks and EUR 5 / Mb for other EU networks.
