ROMPRES - Romanian News Agency - 16 Iunie 2008
Top liquid bonds traded on the futures market of the Sibiu Monetary Financial and Commodities Exchange (BMFMS) closed on Thursday in the green, volatility maintained low and prices did not go decisively in one way or another, BMFMS informs.
The transactions maintained the characterizes of the previous session, being dominated by the expectation attitude. Along the day, as many as 7,927 futures contracts and 378 options were concluded out of the total of 1,400 transactions worth 19.5 million lei.
‘'Considering the capital market looks to have entered over the past days the slack summer time, known as less liquid, the lack of intensity felt on the spot market and on the Sibiu market. It is expected this direction should not be dominated and the interest should return after the prices will have entered a natural development path,'' said a broker.
As for transactions the options sector has once against stood out. If in the previous day the calls dominated, this time the preferences went to the call market which had a share of 44 percent.
‘'Directing investors to both types of options points to the evolution of future quotations being divided over and incertitude still ruling on the market makes the options be extremely useful instruments for the protection of futures instruments,'' said a broker from the Sibiu market.
