Over 20% of total real estate financing to be in leasing

Real estate leasing will represent, in the next 5 years, over 20% of total real estate financing in Romania, Bogdan Furnica, managing partner at Mortgage Capital Group (MCG), said in a Monday's release for Rompres.

The advantages of the real estate leasing versus the home loans consist in protecting the client's own capital, deductibility of leasing installments and the possibility of granting the leasing depending on the client's turnover. 'We estimate that by the end of the year the volume of the financing through real estate leasing intermediated by MCG will stand at some 5 million euro, with most transactions consisting in plots of land and flats with values of 150,000 - 500,000 euro,' added Bogdan Furnica.
