Land close to parks, more expensive

Real estate developers are paying 10-15 percent more for lands close to parks than for other lands in the same area, adviser with Collier real estate company Ionut Petcu told Rompres.

The most expensive plots of land are situated close to Herastrau Park, northern Bucharest, prices range there between 2,700 and 3,200 euros per sq m, next come those close to Floreasca Park (2,800-3,500 euro per sq m) and to Kiseleff Park (3,800-4,500 euros per sq m). Plots close to Carol Park cost between 1,800 and 2,300 euros per sq m. Plots next to Titan Park (south-east) cost between 1,000 and 1,200 euros per sq m, and those next to Tineretulul Park (center-south) between 1,500 and 2,200 euros per sq m. Next come plots close to National Stadium (National Park, east), with prices ranging between 1,500 and 1,800 euros per sq m, and those close to Drumul Taberei Park, costing between 1,200 and 1,600 euros per sq m. Real estate analysts believe this year the plots close to parks will rise in price above the rise in the market. Last year the rise in price for such lands was similar with that of other plots.
