Celhart Donaris Braila passes on profit in Q1

Celhart Donaris SA Braila (north-east of Bucharest), listed on RASDAQ (CEDO symbol) of Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), posted in the first quarter of 2008 a gross profit of 1.67 million lei, compared to losses of 1.732 million lei in the similar period of 2007, according to the financial reports forwarded on Tuesday to RASDAQ. (1 euro trades for 3.66 lei)

Turnover is three times as much, jumping from 3.449 million lei to 11.354 million lei on the background of total revenues of 14.14 million lei, 51 percent higher from the first quarter of 2007 and of total spending of 12.475 million lei, up 28 percent. Celhart Donaris Braila is a paper and cardboard producer and has a share capital of 47.627 million lei, divided into 19.05 million shares with a nominal value of 2.5 lei/share.
