Less than 5 percent of Transgaz, on Stock Exchange this fall

The state will list on the Stock Exchange a package of less than 5 percent of Transgaz shares early this fall, Economy and Finance Minister Varujan Vosganian said on Thursday.

'We will list under 5 percent of Transgaz, after checking the legality of the listing, as it is surprising how pensioners intuited the company's success. I think that the listing will be made early this fall and several hundreds of pensioners will benefit by it,' Vosganian explained. Early this year, Vosganian said there are 472 individuals who want to become Transgaz shareholders, the estimated value being of 43.5 million lei (1 euro=3.66 lei). 'We have immediately started the assessment as regards the requests of the individuals who wanted to become Transgaz shareholders instead of compensations. We have 72 individuals.
