PwC: Romania, seventh as appealing destination for investments in production

Romania ranks the seventh within a hierarchy of most appealing destinations for production companies and it ranks the fourth in relation to the investment projects in the field of services, within a classification that covers 20 emerging countries, developed by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
The indexes on a scale ranging from 0 to 100 reflect the value of the capital generated by each USD invested. Thus, Romania has scored 85 in terms of investments in production, outperforming countries such as Poland and China, with 81, Russia – 79, Turkey – 83, and it came after Bulgaria, which ranked the second in the classification. The most appealing emerging country for the production companies is Egypt, with 95. The third ranks Serbia, followed by India, Vietnam and Peru. The index scored by Romania depending on the appeal degree for service companies is 93, which places it on the fourth position, after Poland, Chile and Russia.
