June 29, International Day of Danube River

The Book of the Blue Danube, an educational set addressing gymnasium students will be released on Sunday, June 29, on the occasion of the celebration of the International Day of the Danube River.

According to the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MMDD) the book was released at the initiative of the International Commission for the protection of the Danube River (ICPDR) and the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development with the support of the Ministry of Education, Research and Youth along with the Save the Danube and Delta and MaiMultVerde (more green) associations. The events devoted to the International Day of the Danube River will be unfolded in all Danubian countries in order to mark this joint wish for joining forces in view to protect this unique river in Europe. On Sunday, Minister of Environment and sustainable Development Attila Korodi will participate at the event which marks the International day of the Danube River. On this occasion, the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development and its partners will emphasize the importance of educating young generations in this respect. Sursa: http://www.rompress.ro
