TotalSoft increases business turnover

TotalSoft, a leading business application developers in Romania, has posted a business turnover of 8.4 million euros for the first half of 2008, up 20 percent year on year, exceeding the estimates of early this year that read 16.5 million euros for the year and 8.2 million euros for the first six months. The company also reported a 20 percent increase in its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation, which reached 1.8 million euro in the first half of the year.

The largest revenues of TotalSoft were derived from the sales of Charisma Enterprise, over 50 percent. Another important source of revenues were customized software projects developed for the Romanian and foreign markets. Sales of the Primavera project management application, of which sole authorized representative in South-East Europe is TotalSoft, exceeded 1.7 million euro, making up more than 20 percent of the total sale figures, also in excess of the estimates of early this year. In the first part of the year, Total Soft continued to consolidate its position on the market for ERP solutions, with Charisma Enetrprise having won new users, including the Romsilva National Forestry Administration, Egnatia Rom, Agricover Credit, Agrobanat, Strauss Romania, General Construct and Deutsche Leasing. TotalSoft CEO Liviu Dragan says the company concluded 150 new business contracts in the first six months of 2008 for the entire range of its software products and IT services. The Romanian market for IT services reached $320 million at the end of 2007.
