Dividends worth 2m euros for heirs to Auschnit and Malaxa

Heirs to inter-war industrialist Nicolae Malaxa will receive from Proprietatea Fund dividends worth 1.85 million euros, whereas heirs to Max Auschnit will receive more than 100,000 euros in dividends.
Proprietatea Fund announced it would propose the allocation of dividends totally worth 90 million lei from the net profit of 313 million lei compared to last year.
According to the annual financial report, revenues from the current activity grew last year fivefold, from 81 million lei to 410.5 million lei. The difference is mainly derived from revenues from provisions, of 129.6 million lei and following the rise almost 2.6 times of sums from dividends cashed from companies in which Proprietatea Fund is shareholder.
At the end of last year, revenues from interest rates were of 30.8 million lei, but at the same time with the rise in revenues spending grew too, 10.4 times from 8.8 million lei to 92.4 million lei.
At that time, total assets were of 14.4 billion lie, 13.5 lower than in the previous year and the difference resulted through the diminution by 19% of the value of immobilized assets from 16.3 billion lei to 13.2 billion lei.
Proprietatea Fund was established in 2005 to pay damages to former owners whom the communist regime confiscated property and which could no longer be paid in kind. The compensations are paid under the form of dividends, with the Fund pending listing with the stock exchange.
