Barnett McCall seeking strategic partner

Barnett McCall Recruitment, a company involved in HR recruitment and consulting, with turnover worth 2 million euros in 2007, is in negotiations with an international player with a view to sealing a strategic partnership, Ziarul Financiar (ZF) reports on Tuesday.

'We are currently in talks to form a strategic alliance, with a global HR player. We have made this decision because we need a partner to help us grow in the long run, since the local market is becoming increasingly competitive,' Charlie Crocker, CEO of Barnett McCall Recruitment (BMR) told ZF. The company official says if the partner's intentions on developing the business were similar with BMR's, BMR would be willing to part with over 50% of its shares. 'We are already working with a consulting company which is helping us in the negotiation process,' added Crocker, without mentioning the price of the stake available for sale. 'This would be one of the first transactions on the recruitment market, in the last few years.
