Fiscal planning, most demanded by Romanian companies
ROMPRES - Romanian News Agency - 10 Iulie 2008
Fiscal planning and structuring services were increasingly more demanded by local companies in the first half of 2008, especially due to many recent complex investments in Romania, according to local consulting company TaxHouse, affiliated with the global Taxand network.
Current investments in Romania have a significant financial impact and require fiscal optimization, TaxHouse Partner Emilia Dragu said.
Another important growth segment is fiscal consulting for real estate deals, making up some 20-30 percent of TaxHouse's business.
The company's revenues exceeded €600,000 in H1, double year-on-year. After two years of operations on the local market, the company's turnover amounted to €1 million last year, and is expected to rise by 50 percent in 2008.
Its main competitors locally are Mazars Hammelrath, Baker Tilly Klitou, BDO Conti, and the Big Four companies (KPMG, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst&Young and Deloitte).
