MedLife, 14.5 million dollars in turnover

MedLife Co., operating in the market of private medical services, posted 14.5 million dollars in turnover in the first half this year, almost double than in the same period last year, when 7.6 million dollars were reported. Operational profit stood in the first six months at 2.3 million dollars, and investment at around three million dollars.

The company offers more and more lab tests. In the three MedLabs in Bucharest, more than 1,300,000 tests were made in the said interval, 50 percent more than in the similar period of last year. In the first quarter since its opening in March 2008, the MedLab and Center in Cluj-Napoca, center of Romania, made over 20,000 tests and over 2,000 patients were treated there. In Bucharest, MedLife holds over one third of the market share in the segment of services for corporate clients. At national level, the market share stands at five percent of the total private medical services. The company employs 870 people, more than 400 of them are medical staff.
