Nine o'Clock - 21 Iulie 2008
Piraeus Bank will buy, against EUR 32 M, 51 per cent of Capital Partners, a company owned by four ex bankers and one of the largest in Romania specialist in providing agency services for funding, mergers and acquisitions, and consulting for real estate, according to Mediafax.
The transaction is conducted through Piraeus Bank Romania, which concluded an agreement for the purchase of 51 per cent of Finnagan Holdings, company registered in Cyprus, according to a press release of the Hellenic bank, sent to Athens Stock Exchange. Capital Partners is owned, through Finnagan Holdings, by Doru Lionachescu, Andrei Diaconescu, Vlad Busila and Victor Capitanu, all former bankers.
The ownership transfer is expected to complete in a few months, after receiving all the approvals from the surveillance authorities.
Last year, Capital Partners was a consultant for the sale of BT Asigurari to the French company Groupama and to the take-over of the real estate consulting company Eurisko by the American group CB Richard Ellis.
