Bucharest Stock Exchange falls more than 2 pct

The quotations of the shares listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) depreciated on Tuesday by an average 2.09 percent, with the development being measured by the BET-C composite index, while the stock of the five financial investment companies (SIFs) recorded an average fall of 3.81 percent (the BET-FI index).
Transactions in the stock issued by 55 companies were carried out on the BVB Regular market, of which 13 companies recorded appreciations of the quotations, seven stood unchanged and 35 fell. The value of the transactions on the BVB stood at 7.36 million euros (26.27 million lei), while trading on RASDAQ amounted to 1.756 million euros.
The BET index that reflects the evolution of the 10 most liquid listed shares dwindled by 2.67 percent, while the ROTX index fell by 3.48 percent.
The BET-XT extended blue chip index dropped 3.05 percent, while the BET-NG sectoral index for energy and utilities went down by 1.67 percent.
The most liquid shares were the BRD at 4.13 million lei, SIF5 Oltenia at 3.35 million lei, SIF2 Moldova at 2.91 million lei and Banca Transilvania at 2.38 million lei. The highest appreciations of the quotations were posted by Electroaparataj at 14.42 percent and Energopetrol at 7.25 percent, while the severest depreciations were sustained by Transilvania Constructii at 14.95 percent and Petrolexportimport at 13.4 percent.
