Romania generates 70 pc of Deloitte revenues in the Balkans

Romania generates almost 70 percent of the consultancy company Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu revenues in the Balkans region, which shows the highest acceleration rate in Central Europe, Deloitte Romania informs.
Deloitte Balkans, including Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Kosovo and Republic of Moldova, reported revenues in excess of 40.4 million euros (more than 64.3 million dollars) for 2008 fiscal year (concluded on May 31) compared to 29.7 million euros on 2007 fiscal year. At the same time, the Balkans team increased from 560 to 650 specialists.
'Our presence on such a competitive market, as the one in the Balkans, is more than a challenge for Deloitte specialists. For Deloitte, the Balkans region shows the highest acceleration rate in Central Europe, Romania accounting for the biggest share in total revenues (almost 70 percent). Our plans are further aimed at a solid growth in the region', said Maksim Caslli, office managing partner with Deloitte Balkans.
