BNR: nongovernmental crediting rises 3.7% in June

The nongovernmental crediting rose in June 2008 by 3.7% (3.4% in real terms) versus May 2008 to 178.18 billion lei (some 49.5 billion euro), according to the monetary indicators published on Wednesday by BNR.
The crediting in lei rose 2.1% (1.8 in real terms), whereas the crediting in foreign currencies expressed in lei rose 5% (in euro, the crediting rose 4.3%).
On June 30, 2008, the nongovernmental crediting recorded a rise of 63.4% (50.5% in real terms) versus June 30, 2007, due to the 40% rise in the lei component (28.9% in real terms) and 89.3% in the forex component expressed in RON (expressed in euro, the rise in the forex crediting stood at 62.7%).
The governmental crediting (of central and local administrations and administrations of social insurance systems) rose in June 4.2% to 11.065 billion lei. On June 30, 2008, the governmental crediting recorded a rise of 31.8% (21.4% in real terms) versus June 30, 2007.
