SIF Transilvania has become significant BRD shareholder

SIF3 Transilvania has become a significant shareholder of BRD Groupe Societe Generale, exceeding five percent of the shares, after the purchasing transactions on July 25, reads a BRD report sent to Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
SIF3 Transilvania has become the fifth biggest shareholder in BRD, with 5.001 percent of the shares. The main shareholder of the bank is Societe Generale - 58.32 percent of the share capital. SIF5 Oltenia holds 5.42 percent, SIF4 Muntenia - 5.27 percent and SIF2 Moldova - 5.02 percent of the shares.
BRD has a share capital of 696.9 million lei, divided in shares of one leu per share.
BRD - Groupe Societe Generale has assets worth over 11 billion euros. It has over 2.4 million clients and operates a network of over 800 units. BRD has the second biggest capitalization at BVB.
