SIF Moldova buyes 98,010 shares of Transelectrica

Financial investment fund SIF2 Moldova bought on Monday as many as 98,010 shares of Transelectrica, accounting for 0.1337 percent of the share capital of electricity transporting company, the overall value of transaction amounting to over 2.156 million lei (954,586.50 dollars), according to a release issued by the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
The price paid per one share was of 22 lei. Following the transaction, the stake of SIF Moldova is of 0.940 percent. Transelectrica is the transport and system operator in Romania with a key role on the Romanian electricity market.
The company manages and operates the electricity transport system and ensures the exchanges of electricity between the countries of Eastern and Central Europe, as a member of the Union for the Co-ordination of Transmission of Electricity' (UCTE) and of the European Transmission System Operators Association (ETSO).
