Sonae Sierra invests 591 million euros in Parklake Plaza

Portuguese Sonae Sierra Co. invests in Romania, in a partnership with Caelum Development, 591 million euros in developing Parklake Plaza, one of the biggest shopping centers in Europe, which will open in April 2011, reads a press release of the company concerning the extension strategy.

To be located in Bucharest, Parklake Plaza will have a total renting area of 110,000 sq m.

Sonae Sierra holds 48 shopping centers in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, Greece, Romania and Brazil, with a total renting area of 1.9 million sq m. Sonae Sierra has 15 projects underway and 16 new projects in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, Greece, Romania and Brazil, with a total renting area of one million sq m.
