AGERPRES - Romanian News Agency - 11 August 2008
The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (CCIA) in Vaslui (eastern Romania) on Friday launched a project meant to develop business in the region in partnership with the European Centre of Resources and Consultancy (CERC) Association and the Centre of the Young Entrepreneurs in Chisinau.
As part of the project, whose value amounts to about 120,000 euros, they will organize meetings between businessmen from Romania and the Republic of Moldova and will take actions meant to select and process information of interest for businessmen. Economic agents will also benefit from legal consultancy for cross-border business.
'The project aims to speed up the sustainable development of economy and business in the cross-border region Romania-the Republic of Moldova through the agency of the cooperation between the institutions supporting the economic sector, the creation of a new infrastructure supporting business and the intensification of the economic cooperation between the business environment in Romania and the one in Moldova,' said Daniel Rata, president of CERC in Iasi (eastern Romania).
