All but BET-C composite stock exchange indices see appreciation

Issuers listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) - the evolution of which is tracked by the BET-C composite index - on Monday fell in average 0.01 pct, yet on the other hand, the five financial investment societies (SIF) advanced 0.72 pct in average (the BET-FI index).

A number of 53 issuers were traded on the main BVB market - the Regular; of these, 25 were subject to appreciation, eight stagnated and 20 dropped. BVB trades totaled 5.82 million euro (20.74 million lei), whereas trades performed on the RASDAQ over-the counter market stood at 617.875 euro.

The BET index, that reflects the evolution of the top liquid 10 listed issuers inched up 0.68 percentage points, whereas the ROTX index gained 1.52 percentage points.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT gained 0.49 pct and the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG advanced 1.38 pct. The top liquid issuers were Petrom - with trades worth RON 3.25 million; BRD - RON 1.96 million; Transylvania Bank - RON 1.76 million and SIF 3 Transilvania - RON 1.41 million.
