German investment at flatting mill in Drobeta Turnu Severin

Over 2008-2010, the construction works of one of the most modern foundries in Europe will be conducted. Thanks to the new construction, the expenses with the supply and transport of a raw material currently manufactured in the Hungarian locality Ozd, necessary for the making of the concrete steel, will be considerably decreased.

According to statistic data, Lamdo SA company of Drobeta-Turnu Severin is producing about 450,000 tons of concrete steel per year, of which some 80 percent are exported to European Union countries.
