Turism Felix back in the black in Q2

Spa facilities management company Turism Baile Felix closed the first half of the year with a net profit higher than RON 229,000 after having posted in Q1 losses worth over RON 3 million, reveals the company's half-year financial report remitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

The profit is however significantly lower than the gain of RON 1.58 million posted for the same period of 2007.The company reported mid-year revenues worth RON 19.36 million and total outlays worth RON 19.13 million. The net turnover was RON 19 million.

On June 30 2008, Turism Felix had acquired RON 22 million in debts and claims worth RON 5.29 million.According to the revenue and expenditure budget approved by the shareholders at the end of March, Turism Felix is estimating a pre-tax profit of RON 7.5 million for 2008, compared to 8.206 million in 2007.

Total revenues are projected at RON 52 million of which money derived from hotel activities are RON 17.49 million lei, public food service activities are to bring in RON 18.43 million, spa treatment - RON 6.88 million, leisure activities - RON 3.65 million.

Total net outlays were set at RON 44.5 million and investments scheduled for this year total RON 37.697 million.In 2007, the company's net profit was RON 6.978 million on a turnover of RON 43.34 million. Total revenues were RON 47.039 million and outlays stood at RON 38.833 million.

The major shareholders of Turism Felix are SIF Transilvania - with 63.03 pt of the share capital and SIF Oltenia - 16.26 pct.
