Romanian stocks plunge on closing losing an average 2.42% on negative international influence

Stocks listed at the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) cheapened 2.42 percent today in line with general slump on the international markets.
Liquidity decreased 38 percent to 21.29 million lei versus 34.44 million lei yesterday.
The BET index of the ten best companies on BSE plunged 2.80 percent to 6,048.60 and the BET-C composite index measuring all listed shares without investment funds slipped 2.18 percent to 4,423.22.
The index measuring the evolution of the five financial companies known as SIF, the BET-FI index, lost 1.35 percent to 34,853.89 and the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna tumbled 3.33 percent to 14,187.88.
The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies on BSE dropped 2.42 percent to 627.21 and the BET-NG index reflecting the evolution of the ten power companies on the bourse plummeted 2.58 percent to 822.36.
At the closing hour in Bucharest the European markets fell sharply with the FTSE index in London losing 1.25 percent to 5,465. The DAX in Frankfurt dropped 1.57 percent to 6,482 and the CAC40 in decreased 1.69 percent to 4,441.
Financial company SIF Transilvania (SIF3) was the most liquid stock today generating deals of 3.03 million lei. It dropped 3.13 percent to 0.93 lei. SIF Moldova (SIF2) dipped 2.34 percent to 1.67 lei after deals of 2.3 million lei. SIF Banat-Crisana (SIF1) remained at 1.65 lei. SIF Muntenia (SIF4) idled at 1.06 lei.
Fifth bank by assets, Banca Transilvania (TLV), slipped 3.61 percent to 0.32 lei. Erste Bank (EBS), listed at the bourse’s international tier, plummeted 4.48 percent to 149.20 lei.
Fertilizer maker Azomures (AZO) added 1.14 percent to 0.8850 lei.
