Residence Buftea to build 300 new dwellings on Buftea Lake shore

Barak Residence, the new residential project of Barak International developer, is to be erected on the shore of the Buftea Lake (close to Bucharest) and it is to cover 37,000 sq m, with the developer having paid 2 million euros for the plot of land, reads a release of the EuroMetropola real estate company.

The project will include 300 dwellings, 300 sq m will be for shops and a leisure complex with a kindergarten, playing grounds for kids, swimming pool and spa.

The first line of buildings on the shore of the lake will include 6 houses with ground and first floor, to cover 150-200 sq m, and a courtyard, to cover 300-800 sq m, in the second line being to follow such houses with ground floor, mezzanine and first floor and behind them five-storey buildings, with 2, 3- and 4-room apartments (80-140 sq m built surface). The technical plans were designed by NCA Chen Architects Ltd from Israel.

The project is addressed mainly to the middle class segment, with prices starting from 1,000 per sq m.

The works will be launched in January 2009 and are scheduled to be completed in 2011, with the total investments having been estimated to reach 40 million euros.
