Stock Exchange closes Thursday's session on 0.89 pct decline

Companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Thursday lost in average 0.89 pct (the BET-C composite index), whereas the BET-FI index recorded a loss of 1.56 pct.

The BET index that tracks the evolution of the top liquid 10 shares slid 1.11 percentage points and the ROTX index also lost 0.83 pct.The extended blue-chip index BET-XT fell 1.26 pct and the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG lost 0.76 percentage points.BVB transactions stood at 3.043 million euros (10.81 million lei), whereas trades on the RASDAQ over-the-counter market hit 661,986 euros (2.35 million lei). The top liquid shares on the market were those of the financial investment companies: SIF 5 Oltenia was subject to trades worth 3.07 million lei; SIF 2 Moldova - 1.56 million lei; SIF 3 Transylvania - 1.32 million lei; Banca Transilvania shares changed hands in deals worth 1.02 million lei.
