Individuals can pay online their income tax, starting with October 1

Individuals can pay their income tax by using their banking cards, the same as the anticipated payments into the tax accounts or those resulted from regularization afferent to the income tax. As well, they can pay by card the tax on revenues derived from commercial activities, from liberal professions, from intellectual property rights, the tax on goods (rental), as well as the tax on gains from the transfer of securities, from foreign currency sale operations at term, based on contract, from agricultural activities and from the sale of a real estate property from personal patrimony.

The National Fiscal Administration Agency is to conclude contracts with the banks willing to accept online transactions, based on cards, selected to this end. ANAF and the selected banks will establish, through concluded contracts, the necessary information exchange between the two sides for the good functioning of the online payment of fiscal obligations through banking cards.
