Omnilogic stakes bet on USD 180 M-plus turnover in 2008

Omnilogic will formally inaugurate a data centre next week, a nearly EUR 6 M investment, part of an ample programme worth over EUR 34 M.

‘This data centre, Omnilogic Processing Centre, which takes 1,500 sq m, provides value added, and not hosting, services we won't let square meters and we won't offer access to third parties, other than our customers. By year's end, the centre will operate at full capacity, depending on the demand, so that early next year, we will open yet another one, also on our campus at Otopeni, with a surface area of 4000 square meters, an investment equal to EUR 6-7 M,' Marin said, adding that in the upcoming period, the company contemplates opening several centres in the country, with the city of Brasov being one likely location. He also said that Omnilogic considers buying an IT company, having taken over the controlling stake in IT distributor Datanet Systems and service provider Softnet Development & Consulting (SDC).
