Financial companies in Romania, down over 8 percent on Tuesday

The index of the financial investment companies (SIFs), BET-FI, crashed 8.25 percent on Tuesday.

BET-FI went down over 10 percent on Monday.

The BET index pointing to the ten best listed shares slipped 4.01 percent while ROTX index decreased 4.69 percent.

The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies on the market fell 5.32 percent and the BET-NG index of the ten power companies reduced 4,41 percent.

Transactions on BVB's main market, Regular, were made with shares issued by 48 companies, of which only eight went up, 4 stagnated and 36 went down.

The value of transactions on the BVB stood at 8.136 million euro (31.957 million lei) and on RASDAQ at 683.222 euro.

SIF Oltenia (SIF5) remained the most liquid stock, generating deals of 6.25 million lei, followed by SIF2 Moldova - 4.35 million lei, Petrom - 4.23 million lei, BRD - 3.55 million lei and SIF Transylvania - 3.14 million lei.

to 3,968.19 and the BET-C composite index measuring all listed shares without investment funds dropped 4.25 percent to 2,979.56.
