Rises on stock exchange

The quotations of shares listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) appreciated on Monday on average by 3.23 percent, according to the index BET-C, whereas the shares of financial investment companies (SIF) grew by 4.15 percent (index BET-FI) and the shares of the companies from the electricity sector and utilities (BET-NG) by 6.72 percent.

The value of transactions on the Bucharest Stock Exchange stood at 5.38 million euros (19.82 million lei) and on Rasdaq at 346,126 euros.

The BET index which mirrors the evolution of the most liquid shares listed, reported a rise of 3.46 percent, while ROTX index grew by 2.80 percent. The extended blue-chip BET-XT grew 3.59 percent.
