Stock Exchange on upward trend

The quotations of the shares listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) surged on Tuesday by an average 5.85 percent, evolution measured by BET-C index, while the shares of the financial investment companies (SIF) increased by 14.04 percent (BET-FI index). The shares of the companies in the field of energy and utilities (BET-NG) went up 10.66 percent.

The BVB main market - Regular- hosted transactions with shares issued by 52 companies, of which 38 registered higher quotations, seven stagnated and seven went down.

The value of transactions on the BVB stood at 7.34 million euro (27.06 million lei) while on RASDAQ the transactions' value stood at 444,439 euro.

BET Index mirroring the evolution of the 10 most liquid shares, increased 7.13 percent, while ROTX index went up 5.12 percent. The BET-XT extended blue-chip index went up 8.15 percent.

The most liquid shares were SIF2 Moldova, SIF2 Oltenia, SIF3 Transylvania and Petrom.
