Bucharest Stock Exchange rises 2.62% on Friday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange /BVB/ rose on Friday by 2.62% (according to the composite index BET-C), stimulated by the rise in the shares of property developer Impact Bucharest, UAMT and Artrom.

The prices of SIF shares rose 7.08% and those of the energy and utility firms advanced 1.78%

Transactions with the shares of 52 companies were made on the main market of BVB.

The value of BVB transactions stood at 8.431 million euro (31.423 million lei), and at 416,459 euro (1.552 million lei) on Rasdaq.

The BET index of the most liquid 10 shares rose 2.09% and the ROTX index went up 1.71%. The extended blue-chip index BET-XT saw a rise of 1.78%.

The most liquid shares were Petrom, SIF5 Oltenia, SIF2 Moldova, BRD and SIF4 Muntenia.
