Romania, second in EU regarding the growth rate of the prices in industry

Romania ranked second in EU in October regarding the rate of growth of the prices from industry, Mediafax informs.
The rate was 15 per cent in our country, while the average of the Community block was 7.3 per cent, according to Eurostat. Luxembourg ranked first with 21.1 per cent against October 2007.
Third was Lithuania with 14.7 per cent. The smallest growths of prices of the industrial production were registered in the Czech Republic, with a rise of 3.9 per cent, France (4.3 per cent) and Slovenia (4.8 per cent). In the Euro area, the prices increased by 6.3 per cent, except for the constructions sector, in October against the same period from 2007.
Compared to the monthly evolution of the prices, Romania had a fall of 0.2 per cent in October against September. The classification includes 22 states, and did not consider the prices in the constructions sector.
