NNDKP's business exceeds by 10 pct that budgeted in 2008

The Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen (NNDKP) law firm, a major player on the local market, registered a 2008 turnover 10 percent higher than that forecast, but estimates stagnation in business in 2009, due to the financial crisis, the Business Standard daily reported on Thursday.
'The value of the law market could drop in 2009 also. As of February-March, the effect of the crisis will be more visible,' said Ion Nestor, Senior NNDKP Partner. He added that the turnover in the fourth quarter of 2008 was below the average of the previous three quarters.
Nestor said that demand for human resources in law firms will drop in 2009, and that the deficit of attorneys registered one year ago will disappear.
