Stocks on the BSE end session around reference values, on frozen deals

Indexes of Romania's main bourse, the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE), waved around their reference values in today's session, with the five financial companies know as SIF posting a 0.3 percent inch on a general market slip of 0.25 percent.
Liquidity remained around 11.43 million lei (2.91 million euros), after it stood at 11.46 million lei in the previous session. The BET index assessing the ten best listed companies inched 0.04 percent to 2,848.87 and the BET-C composite index measuring all listed shares without financial companies lowered 0.25 percent to 1,948.03. The BET-FI index of the five financial companies gained 0.29 percent to 12,492.54 and the ROTX for trading blue chips in Vienna advanced 1.14 percent to 6,424.32. The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies added 0.14 percent to 273.80 and the BET-NG index showing the evolution of the ten best stocks in the power sector slipped 0.05 percent to 335.98. The main stock markets in Europe were going down at the closing hour in Bucharest, except the London bourse which shifted to green. The energy, banking and auto sectors received the strongest hits. The FTSE index in London inched 0.14 percent to 4,292 while the DAX index in Frankfurt fell 0.48 percent to 4,674. The CAC40 index in Paris lost 1.08 percent to 3,190.
In Bucharest, shares of the second Romanian lender by assets BRD SocGen (BRD) were the most liquid and rose 0.62 percent to 8.10 lei. Financial company SIF Oltenia (SIF5) depreciated 1.69 percent to 0.58 lei, SIF Moldova (SIF2) dropped 3.60 percent to 0.5350 lei, SIF Transilvania (SIF3) nudged up 0.76 percent to 0.265 lei and SIF Banat-Crisana (SIF1) grew 0.90 percent to 0.56 lei. Erste Bank (EBS), the majority owner of the country's largest lender by assets, hiked 6.23 percent to 54.60 lei.
Some 3,154 bonds were traded for a total 690,538 lei, out of which 474 bonds issued by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD09) amounting to 445,275 lei and 2,680 issued by largest bank by assets BCR sold for 245,262 lei.
