Ministry of Economy and Finance sells state bonds 404 million lei

The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) drew on Monday over 404.66 million lei through an issue of treasury bonds with discount, put up for auction, through the National Bank of Romania. (BNR).

The state bonds are due in one year at the average yield rate was of 14.23 percent. The average moderate yield of discount rate was of 12.44 percent.

The overall value of the issue was of 800 million lei and the overall demand from the 12 banks which participated in the auction was of 1.05 billion lei.
