Sibex - transactions reach 7.8 bln. lei in 2008

'At the end of the year, I can say we are pleased with our achievements, the more as given that the year 2008 has been a difficult one due to the global financial crisis. Thus, a higher cash flow than in 2007 is really great achievement conforming that Sibex is a mature market that investors appreciate thank to its numerous products and attractive facilities ranging from the investments and low commissions till the presence of the market markers', said Sibex president Theodor Ancuta.

As many as 110,190 agreements totaling 85.56 million lei were reached in the 16 sessions in this December. The financial products DESIF 5 and DESIF 2 generated most of them, while the EURO/RON pair ranked third, both in Dec and throughout the year.
