Companies of Rompetrol group stimulate upward trend on BVB

Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened upward its trading session on Tuesday, on the background of the appreciation by almost 15 percent in the shares of the companies belonging to the Rompetrol group - Rompetrol Refinery and Rompetrol Well Services.

The general index of the market BET-C recorded thus a growth by 0.05 percent in the opening of the session, the BET-FI index of the SIFs (Financial Investment Companies) recorded a growth by 0.74 percent, while the BET index, reflecting the evolution of the 10 most liquid shares traded, went up by 1.1 percent.

The ROTX index climbed by 0.14 percent in the first 15 minutes since the opening of the session, with the extended blue-chip index BET-XT having climbed by 0.79 percent and the sector index for energy and utilities BET-NG having went up by 2.81 percent.

The BVB liquidity is currently reduced, at only 71,000 euros, with trades being dominated by the shares of Rompetrol Well Services, Rompetrol Refinery, SIF5 Oltenia and Broker Cluj.

There were traded in the first 15 minutes since the opening of the session shares worth some 2.700 euros.
