Severe depreciations at BVB at opening

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened downward at the session of Wednesday with depreciations for main shares such as BRD, Transelectrica, Petrom and SIF3 Transilvania, after having reported in the first two sessions of the year significant rises in quotations.

The general index of the market BET-C reported depreciation of 9.46 percent at the start of the session, the BET-FI index of fund investment companies reported a diminution of 0.97 percent and the BET index which mirrors the development of the most liquid assets listed, decreased 9.39 percent.

The ROTX index lowered 15.61 percent in the first 15 minutes after the start of transfers, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT went down 7.59 percent and the sectorial index for energy and utilities BET-NG lowered 1.74 percent.

The liquidity of the Bucharest Stock Exchange was of 900,000 euros, while on the RASDAQ market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange transferred in the first 15 minutes after opening were shares totally worth only 2.500 euros.
