Hotel Howard Johnson estimates a turnover in 2009 close to 2008

"The financial situations for 2008 were not completed yet but we estimate that a decrease in turnover by around 6 per cent was registered, compared to 2007, when the hotel turnover reached EUR 15 M," according to those declared yesterday for Mediafax by Gratiela Badicu, hotel sales and marketing manager. Out of the total turnover, 65 per cent result from room rental, whereas event organization and restaurant services account for 35 per cent. She added that the impact of the financial crisis over the hotel market would not be a significant one.
