Romania's core bourse BSE ends session down 1.7%, in line with external markets

Shares traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) lost an average 1.67 percent on closing, linked to the evolution of European markets, on a three-fold reduced liquidity.
Deals on BSE totaled 10.24 million lei (2.36 million euros) versus 15.23 million lei in the previous session.
The BET index measuring the ten best companies on the market dipped 1.55 percent to 2,822.38 and the BET-C composite index of all listed shares without financial companies eased 1.67 percent to 1,883.85.
The BET-FI index of the five financial companies dropped 1.05 percent to 13,991.04 and the ROTX index for trading blue chips in Vienna declined 2.44 percent to 5,858.26.
The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies lowered 1.51 percent to 278.81 and the BET-NG index mirroring the ten power companies slipped 0.18 percent to 396.94.
At the closing hour in Bucharest, the European markets fell significantly for the fifth time in a row, on worries regarding the impact of financial results over the economic perspectives.
The FTSE index in London dipped 1.59 percent to 4,356.03 and the DAX index in Frankfurt dropped 1.57 percent to 4,645.60. The CAC40 index in Paris lost 2.07 percent to 3,179.03.
Fifth bank by assets Banca Transilvania (TLV) was the most liquid stock following deals of 2.23 million lei and depreciated 3.13 percent to 1.24 lei.
Second lender by assets BRD SocGen (BRD) fell 4.07 percent to 8.25 lei and Austrian lender Erste Bank (EBS) cheapened 3.61 percent to 61.50 lei.
Financial company SIF Oltenia (SIF5) slipped 1.54 percent to 0.64 lei, SIF Moldova (SIF2) decreased 2.54 percent to 0.575 lei, SIF Banat-Crisana (SIF1) went down 0.75 percent to 0.665 lei and SIF Transilvania (SIF3) idled at 0.323 lei.
Oil refinery Rompetrol Rafinare (RRC) added 4.41 percent to 0.0284 lei, PVC maker Teraplast (TRP) advanced 1.18 percent to 0.43 lei and top oil company Petrom (SNP) lowered 1.52 percent to 0.195 lei.
