Software solution provider EBS Romania sees 73% boost in turnover y/y in 2008, to EUR 5.64m

EBS Romania, provider of software solutions and services for IT and economic fields, booked a 73 percent higher turnover last year versus the previous, to 5.64 million euros, a company release reads.

The group's gross operating profit stood at 1.5 million euros in 2008, up 107 percent versus 2007.

EBS Romania has a client portfolio of more than 140 companies.

The company continued to expand on external market in 2008 and recorded a 32 percent hike of software development services and a 300 percent boost of maintenance, support and consultancy services.

EBS Romania is part of EBS group, headquartered in Cluj-Napoca. It counted 260 employees at the end of 2008, up 45 percent versus December 2007, but estimates to reach 300 people at year-end. The company is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and IBM Partener.
