2007 – double anniversary for Raiffeisen Bank

Bucharest, 25.09.2007 – The year 2007 represents a double anniversary for Raiffeisen Bank – 5 years from the merger of Raiffeisenbank and Banca Agricola and 10 years from starting its operations on the Romanian market.

We also have colleagues that joined the team about five years ago, right before the merger, in a very challenging moment. Not to forget our new colleagues, that came with new ideas and freshness” stated Steven van Groningen, President and CEO of Raiffeisen Bank.
The anniversary is not only an occasion to look back, but to define new objectives for the future. „We have a clear mid-term strategy with objectives correlating with the market conditions. We will aim at improving our market share and profitability and decreasing our cost/income ratio” stated Steven van Groningen.
24th of September represents the start of the external and internal communication campaign for Raiffeisen Bank, under the slogan: „We succeed together”. „I consider that our new slogan expresses clearly what we want to be: a cooperating team that interacts in favour of our clients’ comfort in finding the best financial solution and a partnership within Raiffeisen Bank. The essence of Raiffeisen Bank is the team spirit” highlighted Steven van Groningen.
The campaign debuted internally with a series of conferences and seminars for employees, so that Raiffeisen team be better and better. At the same time, the Bank will launch an external image campaign, a sequence of advertisings, posters and leaflets, that illustrate the day-to-day activity of clients from different sectors of activity. The common element of this campaign is suggesting an invisible partner, that helps you succeed easier and better, brings success closer to you, this is Raiffeisen Bank.
